Making photographs as art is immensely satisfying for any creative photographer. All photographers sell prints of course but creating photographic art objects is the ultimate challenge. The intensity of the pursuit to visualise a concept or moment in time and committing it to print is a personally rewarding process and feeling. When someone else feels that the work is unique and motivating enough to decorate their home or office it is both an accolade and an honour.
However, photography that is fine art is decided upon by each individual and what that person considers to be beautiful, desirable and worth hanging on the wall. It is the photographer and the beholder of the picture that decide if the photo is treasure or trash…….
